GALLERY: Photos, Videos & Testimonies from our customers and our travels
A group of us sailed the North Channel of Lake Huron this Fall using your sail systems. Pictured here are 4 Kruger Sea Wind canoes and one Mad River Explorer canoe all rigged with Balogh gear. From steady 10mph breezes to over 20mph winds with 30mph gusts your gear performed exceptionally well. In the attached photo we had reefed our sails and made for safe harbor on Eagle Island to wait out an approaching storm…again, our compliments to you for your exceptional gear!

Delarupelle Arius 2 Expedition with a 32 Expedition and Boss outriggers
After 10 years, Batwing Expedition 32 is on the water. Sail kit sat in the closet all these years forgotten and never installed. At 64 and retired its easy to find excuses to not do anything so out of discipline I made myself install it. Yes, I drilled a hole in the wrong place but Dave at [BSD] sent repair parts for free and as you see it all turned out very well
- thanks to many phone calls for his advice.
Really didn't have much wind today, but it paddles easily from the rear seat and the slight breeze did its job - at times gliding the craft further ahead.
Dave is right, the whole expierence makes you feel better.

BSD 38 in action mounted on my MR malecite canoe - Kevin McCarthy
"David: It arrived today. Looks great. My experience with Balogh dates back to the 90s and I can only say the quality as actually improved. That's quite a feat, since certainly quality was excellent in those days.......quality wasn't the problem. Needless to say I'm very impressed. That white with black trimmed sail is great looking. I'm going to work on it his weekend and hope for some nice weather with some breeze in the coming week. Good job!! Thanks much, Rick."

I got hit by a 50 mph wind and everything worked great. On two occasions I ended up tacking up a channel and I was shocked at how well I was able to tack. I did do a lot of reefing. In fact I would say about 80 % of the time I had a reef in and doing the reef was so easy with the system you have. Thanks again for a great system.

BSD rig on an inflatable kayak - It is a Gumotex (Innova) Helios 380 and may well be the best boat I've had for Balogh sailing. It is just hard to keep the water out in a big sea. I did the EC2007 in an Incept kayak from New Zealand, but the hull material is too flimsy for the florida oysters.

This from Neal Graneau: "I am a sometime Watertriber who has been in one EC challenge in 2007 - which I did not complete. My biggest challenge is to get my boat and rig to the starting line as I live in the UK and my boat and camping equipment travel by plane. I have had a BSD rig on various folding and inflatable kayaks for over 10 years and have always been keenly aware that they are the parts I never have to replace."
